GRATINGS AND FENCING

GRATING

Grating. /Great grate a framework of metal bars in the form of a grille set into a wall, pavement, etc., serving as a cover or guard but admitting air & sometime light. Grate has openings in the top to allow water or air to pass through the grate and into or through the item being covered. Grate is also used to describe an open webbed steel, or synthetically produced surface, that is used as a wearing surface on stairs as the treads, walkways or platforms. The ability of the grating to allow water and moisture to pass through the surface accommodates the requirement to prevent slipping and ice buildup on horizontal surfaces. The term is also used to describe a negative action of two materials scrapping against each other. This term grating is normally not an action that is intended, and will eventually produce deterioration of the two materials that are grating together.

We can supply grating with Steel. Aluminum, Fiberglass

Types of Grating Systems

There are different types of acceptable grading systems around the world. They are classified into seven types:

  1. Grating Percentage– from 0 to 100 percent
  2. Letter Grading and Variations –from A grade to F grade
  3. Standard-referenced Grading– typically comparing students to each other with letter grades
  4. Mastery Grading – Students are rated as ‘masters’ or ‘passers’ until their accomplishment reaches a defined level.
  5. Common Scale– Pass/Fail
  6. Rating of Expectations (or grading of absolute standards)– Comparing student success with a pre-established performance level of quality
  7. Narrative Grading – Writing feedback on learners

FENCING

A fence is a structure that encloses an area, typically outdoors, and is usually constructed from posts that are connected by boards, wire, rails or netting. A fence differs from a wall in not having a solid foundation along its whole length. A fence is a usually wooden or metal structure that encloses a yard, pasture, or other area

You might buy enough fencing to close in your whole back yard — it could be made of wood, metal, or even plastic, and this material can also be called fencing. A completely different kind of fencing is the sport that involves combat with sword-like weapons. Fencing started as military training and a way of settling disputes

A fence holds significant importance in your property. Whether it is your house, agricultural property, a ranch, or any sort of property that needs protection. And wire fencing is one of the many ways you can safeguard your property. It is flexible and at the same time, it keeps unwanted guests out of your premises and can keep your pets in the backyard or your livestock in your ranch if you have any.

On top of everything else, there are different types of wire fences that are sturdy, robust, low maintenance, and can suit your specific requirements. Each type of fence has its advantages and can be better for specific use as compared to others. So, let’s explore different kinds of wire fences.
